The Jalapeño, probably one of the most commonly recognised chillies in the world, mainly used in Mexican dishes, for pickling, dried or fresh. Jalapeño is so versatile it can be served on and with all sorts of things from fajita to sub sandwiches, pizza to nachos, it is delicious chilli pepper. Plants product medium, fat green bullet shaped fruits with medium thick fruit walls, starting a deep dark green and ripening to a bright red. This particular variety is earlier maturing than standard Jalapeño chilli plants, ensuring you get a good ripe crop in mid summer. just in time for BBQ

Jalapeño Early Chilli Plant

Lovely healthy plant, now to wait and see how many chillis we get.

Leggy, small seedlings

Disappointed, long delivery time and the seedlings were half the size of my own home grown seedlings, very leggy and thin, they needed more light and the root system was also a bit small due to restricted space. I expected the plants to be stronger and healthier, I only bought them to top up some of the plants I lost when smaller due to slug damage.
